Sam is a property and insolvency lawyer.
His experience includes:
- acting for growers/investors in the insolvencies of Timbercorp, Great Southern, Forestry Enterprises Australia, Willmott and Gunns agricultural and forestry managed investments schemes;
- advising, acting and appearing for the Victorian Small Business Commissioner in relation to the Retail Leases Act 2003 (Vic);
- acting for the Palace Entertainment Complex in the long-running St Kilda Triangle dispute;
- regularly appearing in Victorian and Federal Courts and the retail tenancies list in VCAT; and
- a pro bono practice for residential tenants taking referrals from PILCH and the Homeless Persons Legal Clinic.
Sam is also a member of the Law Institute of Victoria’s PELS Leases Committee and the Australian Property Law Group Victoria Committee.
